Absolutely. Most of our guests are complete beginners. We’ll guide you step by step, from how to hold the brush to creating your final piece. No prior experience is needed.
Yes. Solo travelers are very welcome, and many of our guests join on their own.
The experience takes around 90 minutes from start to finish.
No. Everything you need is included in the price, with no optional extras or hidden fees.
No need to worry. We provide each guest with a samue, traditional Japanese workwear, to wear during the experience and help protect your clothes from ink.
Children aged 6 and over are welcome to join the experience. For children under 6, participation may be difficult, but they are welcome to accompany your group with a private booking for 6 guests.
Your finished piece is yours to keep. You’ll also receive a shikishi, a traditional Japanese art board, with kanji written for you by your host as a gift to take home.
